We return to St Paul’s School in Barnes on October 24th, joining once more with the Barnes Community Choir for another fabulous programme. (Our luxury raffle ran out of tickets last year, we’ll have more! ) The Band had a rousing summer programme, peaking at Regent’s Park Bandstand after Barnes Fair, Trumpeters’ House in Richmond and Canbury Gardens Bandstand in Kingston. Plus jolly mini-gigs to celebrate Open Gardens, for FiSH in Barnes; the Young Makers’ Market at the National Trust’s Mordern Hall Park; and the London Children’s Literature Festival in Barnes. The Band are committed to entertaining our audiences, with a mix of challenging symphonic wind band music and bandstand favourites. We are passionate about community engagement and encouraging new musicians – from young children to adult learners/returners. We are Barnes Concert Band Registered Charity number 279245.
