This is such a special year for the Band, our 50th Anniversary.   Our spectacular 50th Celebration Concert was a triumph, at Wathen Hall (St Paul’s School) in October. There were musical/pop medleys, stirring symphonic wind band music and a special commission from renowned band leader and composer Rob Wiffin (reflecting the spirit of Barnes Village).  Daryle was joined by former Music Director, David Smith to lead us -and we were delighted that the wonderful Barnes Community Choir took part to help us celebrate!  Another highlight of our year is a fantastic video about us.  We’re so grateful to David Jeffcock and Helen Walker for producing this.   Next year we’re back at Barnes Music Festival, Trumpeters’ House and lots more.  All details are on our concerts page, please come to see us.
